H1N1 vaccine update

Information on seasonal flu shots and on the H1N1 vaccine is available in every province, by contacting public health or your family physician. The Ontario Government, for example, has stated that people over 65 are generally at greater risk of catching seasonal flu than H1N1, and recommends that people 65 and older and residents of Long Term Care Homes get the season flu shot first. Younger people are advised to get the H1N1 vaccine first, and, if necessary, the seasonal flu shot later.
