With the tag line, "A New Vision of Aging for Canadians," this first annual gathering will bring experts from across North America to speak to an intimately-sized audience on topics ranging from sexuality to ultra-longevity, from eye health to integrative medicine and human-robotics.

Under the auspices of Moses Znaimer, CARP's Executive Director, the Conference is modeled on Moses' acclaimed ideaCity, his annual "meeting of the minds" that takes place in Toronto each June.

This time, Moses is keeping the subject strictly on topics of interest to Zoomers, and, as is typical for Moses, he is spicing it up with some entertainment; including a wine tasting, an inspiring 9-year-old pianist, Anastasia Rizikov and Belly Dancer, Roula Said.

A New Vision of Aging for Canadians

Znaimer's "New Vision" of aging seeks to redefine how the world looks at aging and how baby boomers define themselves. "Zoomers are a growing, vibrant and affluent community. They look at the world with optimism; they are engaged and aspire to enrich their lives and the lives of their communities," said Znaimer.

CARP Conference attendees will have the privilege of listening to, and mingling with, the likes of Dr. Mark Liponis, Medical Director of Canyon Ranch; Dr. Woodson Merrell, a world leader in Integrative medicine; Ford Model and best selling author of Gracefully , Valerie Ramsey; personal finance expert, Patricia Lovett-Reid and sex and culture expert Lou Paget.

Participants will take away concrete advice that will help them live an engaged and healthier life, understand the connection between science, nutrition, sleep, emotions, finance and longevity, and learn about medical advances on the immediate horizon.

Only a few hundred tickets are available, for what is sure to be a sold out event.
